How To Apply


Step 1

Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visiting Portugal’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how long it will take to process your application, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Embassy of Portugal in Islamabad.

Step 3

Please ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the Visa Application Centre.

Step 4

Book an appointment by going to the ‘Schedule an Appointment’ link or by calling our helpline. Please note that the following persons do not require an appointment to apply:

  • family reunification applicants that are in possession of a letter from Immigration and Borders Service / Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (SEF);
  • Visa applicants who hold a Portuguese marriage certificate.

Step 5

Print out your appointment letter and visit the VAC with your passport, supporting documents and photographs. Applicants should also bring any previous passports.
